Core Service

We often hear that an organization will outsource elements of itís own business so that it can focus on itís core business. This concept can be applied to IT Service Provision. The core of a service is what provides the value to a consumer (customer).

Removal of the core service would result in a non-functional service that would be very unattractive to customers.

The complete service package is made up of core and supporting services.
