ISO 19770
ISO 19770 is an international standard for software asset management (SAM). SAM is a requirement for organizations that want to effectively processes and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and software contracs.
ISO 19770 has a strong affiliation with ISO 20000. It is constructed in 6 main sections. The sections for the standard are (a) Control environment, (b) planning and implementation, (c) inventory, (d) verification and compliance, (e) operations management and (f) lifecycle.
