ITIL Service Strategy
ITIL Service Strategy is one of the five (5) core references from the new version of ITIL. Version 3 of the ITIL Framework is a complete redesign of the framework, along a "lifecycle" philosophy.
The primary activities for ITIL Service Strategy is the definition of the "market" and the coordination of the development of service offerings.
It is important to note that this may not be a commercial activity; but it could be. The definition of the market from an internal perspective includes identifcation of the service customer.
