Exam TimeExam Time for the differnt levels of ITIL certification varies. The typical time allowed for the entry level or Foundation exam is 60 minutes. The ITIL v2 Practitioner exams have a 120 minute (2 hour) duration. While the current ITIL v2 Managers exams are 3 hours each. Exam Times may change with the new ITIL certification scheme that is to be designed under ITIL v3.
There is also discussion that the Service Lifecycle and Service Capability exams, along with Managing through the Lifecycle exams under ITIL v3 will all be multiple choice exams. Students taking the current ITIL v2 Managers exam who are taking the exam in a language that is not their native language may be entitled to extra time in the exam. Your officially Accredited Training Organization (ATO) should contact the Examination Institute to enquire about this. Most EIs will grant an additional 15 minutes for each hour of the exam to those participants who are taking the exam in a language other than their own native language. |
