ISEB - Information Services Examination Board

ISEB is an entity within the British Computer Society (BCS).

ISEB has been in existance in one form since the late 1960's. The ISEB exam offerings extends beyond ITIL(r) into areas such as Business Analysis, Software Testing and Project Management.

ISEB has long enjoyed a combined dominance of the ITIL(r) Certification - with EXIN - however, that dominance was upset in June 2006, when the OGC awarded the management of the ITIL(r) certification scheme to the APM Group. Since that announcement Exin and ISEB have announced a joint strategic working partnership.

Access to ISEB exams is typically via an ISEB Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs) and (like Exin) some of the exams can be taken via computer.
