ITIL ExpertITIL Expert is the name given to the cetification awarded to a person that earns 22 credits from passing exams in the ITIL v3 certification track. The points that contribute to the ITIL Expert status come from ITIL Foundation (2 credits) and then 17 credits that have to be earned at the ITIL Intermediate layer.
Intermediate courses earn either 3 credits (Service Lifecycle), 4 credits (Serviec Capability) or 5 credits (Managing Across the Lifecycle). There are rules regarding the combination of courses that can be taken at the Intermediate layer. |
