Service Catalog

The Service Catalog is the "viewable" element of the entire service Portfolio. The service catalog element will include services that are being charged or costs recovered.

The Service Catalog continues to remain as a list of services on offer to customers - but in ITIL v3 it is a subset of services that are defined in the entire service portfolio (specifically the service pipeline). Services defined in the service catalog will be those that are in operation.
