ITIL Standard ChangeAn ITIL standard change quite simply refers to pre-approved changes. Pre-approved changes can be defined for a variety of tasks, but they will typically be low risk, low effort changes that have a low or known cost. The Standard Change is one of three change types that are defined in ITIL version 3. The ITIL standard change, the normal change and the emergency change.
