Within any organization there is continual change that could have a positive or detrimental impact on the cost of IT Service Delivery.

It is fair to assume that most organizations seeks to decrease costs through mergers, partnerships, etc. however, situations can work against such activities and cause an actual cost per unit increase.

Variable Cost Dynamics (VCD) is a science of studying the likely impact of changes to organizational structure and/or changes in service requirements upon the cost of service delivery. It is a proactive tool that reviews all the variables that impact service delivery.
